Day: Arrival Delhi
On arrival at Delhi our representative then transfer
to the hotel where we hold the room on ready occupancy
basis. Rest of the day is free for relax, overnight
stay in Delhi.
02 Day: Delhi
After breakfast take sightseeing tour of historic
city visiting Old Delhi visiting the majestic Red
Fort, a marvel in red sandstone, Jama Masjid, the
largest mosque in India, both built by emperor Shah
Jahan of Taj Mahal fame, Rajghat - memorial of Mahatma
Gandhi & a Rickshaw ride past through the silver
street in Chandani Chowk, the city tour continues
covering New Delhi, visiting Rashtrapati Bhawan, one-time
imperial residence of the British viceroys; the India
Gate, a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers
martyred during the Afghan war; the Laxmi Narayan
Temple, built by the Birlas, one of India’s
leading industrial families; Humayun’s Tomb,
lotus shaped Bhai’s Temple , Qutub Minar , built
by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty; in the
evening you can visit to see speculative Light and
Sound Show at Red Fort. Return to the hotel for overnight
at the hotel.
03 Day: Delhi - Agra
(200 Kms - 4 hours)
After breakfast depart for Agra en route visit the
Sikandra to see the Tomb of Mughal Emperor Akbar.
Then proceed to Agra, on arrival transfer to hotel.
After lunch you visit to witness incomparable Taj
Mahal with its’ speculative view. Taj Mahal,
the architectural modern day wonder of the world;
this monument is a fine example of the fusion of many
architectural styles is one of the wonders of the
modern world. Taj, endowed it with some of the loveliest
buildings in the world. The tour continues with a
visit to the Agra Fort from where one can get the
most moving view of the Taj from the little octagonal
tower in the Agra Fort which lies across the river
Jamuna, followed by visit to Pearl Mosque and the
Tomb of Itamad-ud-Daula built by Empress Noorjehan
in memory of her father. In the evening you may visit
to the souvenirs market of Agra, one should visit
Oswal Emporium where they have built a Mini Taj Mahal
inside their showroom and it took 10 years for the
artists to complete the mini replica of the Taj. The
show room conducts free sound & light show showing
the eras of Taj Mahal. Overnight in Agra.
Note: Taj Mahal is closed on every Friday.
04 Day: Agra - Ranthambhor
(280 Kms - 5 hours)
After breakfast drive to Ranthambhor en route visit
the Old deserted town of Mughal Dynasty - Fatehpur
Sikri built in red sandstone in honour of Saint Salim
Chisti who foretold the birth of 3 sons to Emperor
Akbar, is an example of robust stability combined
with originality. Each important edifice here represents
a type by itself. Notable among them is the Diwane
Khas; Punch Mahal, the Tomb of Salim Chisti, and the
Buland Darwaza. Later continue to proceed Ranthambhor.
On arrival transfer to the hotel. Evening free for
leisure and relax at the jungle resort. Overnight
at Ranthambhor.
05 Day: Ranthambhor
Today morning take Jungle Safari by open Canter accompanied
by an expert naturalist to explore The Ranthambhor
wildlife Sanctuary, one of the best places in India
to see a tiger in its natural habitat. In the dry
season tigers can be seen near the watering holes
and are clearly visible in the dry forest. Return
to the hotel for a lunch. Later visit Ranthambhor
Fort over looking the National Park and Jogi Mahal.
Also visit the famous Temple of Ganesha in the Fort.
Rest of the evening free for leisure activities at
the jungle resort. Overnight at Ranthambhor.
06 Day: Ranthambhor -
Jaipur (180 Kms - 3 ½ hours)
After breakfast checkout and drive to Jaipur. On arrival
in Jaipur transfer to hotel. Later in the evening
visit to Birla Temple, a speculator marble temple
glitters in the night, later at the time of dinner
visit to Chokhi Dhani - an ethnic 5 star resort serving
Rajasthani & Continental cuisine with live music,
astrology, games, folk dances and music, puppet shows
in an ambiance of an ethnic village. Return to the
hotel for overnight.
07 Day: Jaipur
Today after breakfast explore the Pink City with an
excursion to Amber Fort, situated just outside the
city, enjoy the experience of ride on elephant back
to and from the top of the hill on which the fort
is situated. Afternoon sightseeing tour of City Palace
in the heart of Jaipur is known for its blend of Rajasthani
and Mughal architecture. Not far away is the Central
Museum. Jantar Mantar is the largest of the five observatories
built by Sawai Jai Singh. The Hawa Mahal or the Palace
of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch
the royal processions without being seen, all monuments
are located in the vicinity of City Palace Complex
of Jaipur. Later late afternoon is kept free to visit
the famous Markets of Textiles, Gems, Carpets, and
handicrafts. Jaipur is an ideal place for buying souvenirs.
One can also visit Nahargarh Fort to see it illuminated
over the floodlights. Return to the hotel for overnight.
08 Day: Jaipur - Delhi
(280 kms - 5 hours)
After breakfast checkout from the hotel and drive
to Delhi, en route you can visit Nimrana Fort, which
is one of the magnificent forts of Rajasthan, converted
into a heritage hotel, where you can have your lunch
also. Later continue to drive to Delhi On arrival
transfer to the hotel. Day free to rest and relax.
Overnight stay in the hotel.
09 Day: Delhi - Chandigarh
(250 kms 5 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Chandigarh. On arrival transfer
to hotel, evening free for relax. Overnight at the
hotel.
10 Day: Chandigarh -
Kasauli (77 kms 1 ½ hour)
After breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Chandigarh
visiting Rock Garden, constructed almost entirely
out of city garbage; Rose Garden 30 landscaped acres
containing a variety of 1600 roses; Museum & Art
Gallery housing a good collection of sculptures and
paintings, visit Sukhna Lake and later excursion (30
kms) to visit Pinjore Garden (Mughal Garden). Later
drive to Kasauli, on arrival check in to the hotel.
In the evening enjoy the city atmosphere. Overnight
at the hotel in Kasauli.
11 Day: Kasauli
Morning after breakfast take a sightseeing of Kasauli
visiting the Monkey Point: The highest point in Kasauli
called Monkey point is just 4-km from the Kasauli
bus stand, Sanawar: Just 6-km from Kasauli, Sanawar
houses one of the best schools in the country. The
Lawrence school is almost one hundred-years-old and
a major attraction of the town, The Christ Church
still unspoiled and very much as the British left
it fifty years ago; Kasauli has a fine old church.
The Christ Church is a typically Anglican structure
of the period and its foundation stone laid in 1844.
Return to the hotel for overnight.
12 Day: Kasauli - Shimla
(77 kms 1 ½ hour)
After breakfast checkout and drive to Shimla en route
visit Dharampur: Just 15-km from Kasauli. Amidst the
healthy air of the fragrant pines, Dharampur has one
of the best hospitals in India for the cure of tuberculosis,
Sabathu: A little cantonment town has a Gurkha fort
built in the early years of the 19th century, situated
at an altitude of 1,437m. This cantonment town quartered
the British soldiers at the time of British Empire.
A diversion road from Dharampur 15-km away leads to
the Sabathu town. Later proceed to Shimla. On arrival
transfer to the hotel in Shimla for overnight.
13 Day: Shimla
After breakfast depart for the winter sports capital
- Kufri 16 kms, where you can photograph yourself
in Pahari or Himachal outfit, available on hire. You
can also enjoy horse riding or Yak riding. (On own
your own) Afternoon proceed to Naldhera, which is
famous for its Golf Course & scenic beauty. On
a clear day you can also view the Kailash Ranges.
Later visit the famous Mall Road that still has some
building built in the British Style. Evening will
be at your leisure. Overnight stay at Shimla.
14 Day: Shimla - Manali
(260 kms 8 hrs)
After breakfast checkout and drive to Manali. On the
way you can glance scenic spots like Pandoh Dam, Mandi,
Beas River, and Dashehra Maidan. Optionally en route
you can visit to Shawl factories to purchase warm
cloth material. Arrive in the evening and transfer
to the hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at
the hotel.
15 Day: Manali
After breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Manali
town, visiting Hadimba Temple, dedicated to goddess,
Manu Temple of Manu Rishi (Holy man) who was the creator
of human race on the earth, Club house, a picnic spot,
. Tibetan monasteries, 3 colourful monasteries, on
the bank of beas river you can buy Tibetan handicraft
over here, Vashist Kund, it is a small village located
on the left bank of river Beas renowned for its hot
springs and temples. Nearby is the pyramidal stone
temple dedicated to Vashist Muni. There is another
Temple of Lord Ram here, if time permits you can visit
to Mountaineering institute. In the evening visit
at the famous mall road to enjoy the atmosphere of
the hill station. Overnight at the hotel.
16 Day: Manali ( Rohtang
Pass Exursion 55 kms one way )
Today morning after breakfast take an excursion to
ROHTANG PASS (3979 m): Rohtang pass on highway to
Keylong/Leh. It offers a panorama and spectacular
mountain view. Rohtang, it is a gateway to Lahaul
Spiti, Pangi and Leh valley just as Zojila pass is
a gatway to Ladakh. En route Stop over to enjoy breathtaking
beauty of Kothi, Rahalla Falls to enjoy the sight
of fashinating water falls, and Marrhi. Continue to
drive to Rohtang, There are a beautiful sight of glaciers,
peaks and Chandra river flows down in the Lahaul valley.
Slightly to the left are the twin peaks of the Geypan.
Enjoy skiing and trekking and snow caped moutians.
Later drive back to Manali. Evening free for leisure
and relax. Overnight at the hotel.
17 Day: Manali ( Manikaran
excursion 85 kms one way)
After breakfast take an excursion tour to Manikaran
famous for its hot springs. Thousands of people take
a holy dip in hot waters here. The water is so hot
that dal, rice & vegetables etc. can be cooked
in it. It is also a well known pilgrimage place for
both Hindus & Sikhs. Ramchandra and Shivaji temples
besides a Gurudwara are there. According to an old
legend, Manikaran is connected with Lord Shiva and
his divine consort, Parvati, who lost her ear rings
here, which gave birth to hot waters on the bank of
Parvati river. Hearing this religious myth from the
priests will be more rewarding and interesting. After
visit drive back to Manali.
18 Day: Manali - Dharamshala
(260 kms 7 hrs)
After breakfast checkout and drive to Dharamshala,
en route bow darshan at Baijnath, enroute enjoy the
most beautiful & picturesque part of the Himachal
Pradesh which takes you through some exhilarating
scenery.on arrival check in to the hotel . Evening
free to relax. Overnight at the hotel.
19 Day: Dharamshala
After breakfast we leave to visit the McLeod Ganj
- This is best known as the headquarters of the Tibetan
Government in Exile and is the home of the His Holiness
the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso. Dalai, Tsuglagkhang
or Central Chapel, is the exiled government's equivalent
of the Jokhang Temple in Lahaska and as such in the
most important Buddhist monument in McLeod Ganj. Kalachakra
Temple, Kangra Art Museum, Jwalamukhi Temple (The
goddess of light). The temple is topped by a golden
dome and spire. Return to the hotel for an overnight.
20 Day: Dharamshala -
Dalhousie (127 kms 3 hrs via Lahru)
After breakfast drive to Dalhousie, arrival in the
afternoon and transfer to the hotel. Half day free
at leisure to enjoy the beauty of valleys in between
Gandhi Chowk & Subhash Chowk. Overnight at the
hotel
21 Day: Dalhousie-Kahjjiar
- Chamba (Excursion)
After breakfast we leave for round tour of Dalhousie-
Kahjjiar & Chamba. In Kahjjiar visit Lake - over
1 km wide; pine trees ring it with a pond in the middle
& Kahjjiar Temple. The 12th century Temple. In
Chamba we visit Laxmi Narayan Temple Complex. Three
of the temples are dedicated to Vishnu, and three
to Shiva. Chamunda Devi Temple. A terrace before this
hilltop temple gives an excellent view of Chamba with
its slate roof houses, the River Ravi and the surroundings
countryside. After sightseeing we come back to Dalhousie,
overnight at the hotel.
22 Day: Dalhousie - Amritsar
(191 kms 4 hrs)
Morning after breakfast checkout and drive to Amritsar,
the capital city of Punjab (pool of nectar). On arrival
transferred to the hotel. Day free to rest and individual
activities in Amritsar. Overnight stay in the hotel.
23 Day: Amritsar
Morning after breakfast take a sightseeing tour of
the city visiting Golden Temple to pay your reverence
to Guru Granth Sahib, followed by visit Jalianwalla
Baugh- Martyrs’ Memorial built in the shape
of eternal flame of liberty is situated on the outskirts
of Golden Temple. Here about 1500 and 2000 persons
who were attending a peaceful meeting during the freedom
movement fell under the bullets of the British General
Dyer on 13 April 1919. Evening visit Wagah Border
to watch Border Retreat Ceremony. The pageant of the
beating of the retreat and the change of guard within
handshaking distance of the Indian and Pakistani forces
here makes the most charming of the spectacles as
a daily evening drill. Ascertain the timings before
you leave to see this spectacle since these are changed
seasonally. Wagah is the only land border open between
Pakistan and India. Return to the hotel for dinner
and overnight.
24Day: Amritsar - Delhi
(By Air)
Early morning check out the hotel and transfer to
the airport to board morning flight for Delhi, assissance
on arrival and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the
day is free for leisure. Overnght at delhi.
25 Day: Delhi - Back
Home (By Air)
After breakfast the day is free for indivudal activities
and shopping. Later checkout and transfer to the international
airport to board the schedule flight back to home
country. On departure the tour concludes with happy
memories
